At least Jeter is a good player. Punto has been getting the treatment all series because.... I don't know why.

Because of the "underdog" and "scrappy" Twins

I don't understand why they're just now bringing in Nathan. When you're at home you generally throw your closer in the 9th inning since you can't get a save. If you're going to lose the game, you should at least go down with your best pitcher on the hill. Now all of their middle relievers have gotten them in more trouble, all while their best relief pitcher is just sitting around.

I don't understand:

1. Why Mahay even pitched, he is s__.
2. Why Nathan couldn't pitch to Matsui. Bringing a LHP just to face Matsui is retarded as in 2009 Matsui is mashing LHP to the tune of a .950+ OPS. Shows just how "awesome" and "veterany" Gardenhire is.

I can't believe they did this without Morneau

Twins style of baseball is fun to watch and leads to excitement but when it comes to beating good teams in a series it doesn't cut it. I guess nobody was expecting much from the Twins this year. I just hope that doesn't mean that once again the Twins will sit on their hands this offseason thinking that they are only a couple players developing into starters away from winning it all. All they are is a team that can squeak out enough wins to take the weakest division.

Three things I'd love to see the Twins do before next year:

1. Lock up Mauer
2. Sign a second baseman- Hudson, Sanchez, Iwamura.. maybe Polanco
3. Move Cuddyer back to 3rd. At least give it a shot. I don't want anything to do with Crede next year and while I wouldn't mind seeing a guy like Beltre come here, I'd rather see them get a 2nd baseman and Punto out of the lineup.
