Cbs points league, 12 teams, 24 roster spots....We are keeping 8 guys and I have such a difficult decision on keepers as I lucked out big time..please help, remember how important pitching is if you know cbs...Potential Keepers are...
1B Joey Votto, Kendry Morales 2B Brian Roberts SS Hanley Ramirez 3B Gordan Beckam OF Matt Kemp OF NIck Markakis C Victor Martinez
SP Jon Lester, Tommy Hanson, Jair jurrjens, Matt Cain, John Lackey
My initial keepers were: Hanley, Kemp, Lester Hanson Votto Markakis Victor Cain
I love Jurrjens and think he can also be an ace...position scarcity i need some help?? i think having a deep stafff helsp alot in cbs..wat u guys think
ARTFUL DODGER....thanx for the help, its always appreciated, are you familiar with cbs head to head style at all? pitchers seem to be worth much more then any other league i have done in espn or yahoo...Everyone doubted cain all year, he had 1 month where he struggled and still had good starts at the end of the year...Jurrjens i also think is a developing ace, he dominated at the end of the year, should i definitly not think about keepin 3 pitchers?
C Victor Martinez 1B Joey Votto CI/OF/UTL Kendry Morales 2B Brian Roberts SS Hanley Ramirez OF Matt Kemp SP Jon Lester, Tommy Hanson
Do you have CI or UTL slots?
The above are my keepers.
I do like the idea of you trading to upgrade. Find a team weak at 1b and offer them Morales and a stud arm you have for a 3b (try to find a team with 2 good 3b keepers and no 1b and little pitching to consider).
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!
only allowed to trade keepers since the trade deadline was up back in august, keepers and picks i guess....U think Morales over Markakis??? come on, i know he tailed off playing for the sh*t orioles but....thank god you know CBS, so u just keepin just those 2 pitchers is good?? i feel pitching was so important this year, at least finding pitching that wiont get u negative points
