Inukchuk wrote:Oh, please. You said "...neither team is particularly good, and that always kind of taints it for me..." so I decided to bust your balls because you're a known Jays fan. I was implying that the Jays aren't "particularly good." I thought the goof was apparent by the little innocenty face I put on the end of it.

The fact that the Jays aren't good isn't relevant because I never suggested a Jays game was the "greatest game I've ever seen." If I had, you might have actually had a point. To rank among the "greatest games I've ever seen," there has to be something more on the line than Roy Halladay's numbers or the right to get crushed by NYY in the ALDS.

Apparently it wasn't because then you launched into a logic discussion, as if I was actually trying to prove your inital point wrong.

The first mention of "logic," as inane as it was:

Well, the Bluejays aren't good, therefore any team they beat couldn't have been that great. Ergo, Bluejays wins = unenjoyable.

Pretty solid logic, yes?

Once I realized you're not the type of guy that enjoys/understands ball busting, I tried to explain the joke, which made you go even crazier with your logic analysis.

Once again, your "joke" didn't make any sense because I specifically wrote in the original post that it was an "exciting game," which would imply that I enjoyed it.

So, my bad, I guess.

Indeed.

If I wasn't around, people would go around making posts that Juan Pierre is better than Manny Ramirez. And that wouldn't be good.

Fowler is a cool player. I did like your joke about Space Jam the first time I read it, I laughed.

We were watching Space Jam and during that scene my friend pulled a notepad from his pocket and wrote that down. That piece of paper is now stuck on my wall at school for inspiration. ;-D

I think the guy (bazzy?) who argued for 2 pages on that point in your thread was pretty serious about it, lol. :-b

So it wasn't actually a joke you made, then? I'm disappointed, I thought you had finally achieved your goal of being funny. ;-)

Dear weiry/anti-midas,

Hi,

We are all friends here, and everybody knows that Inuckchuk is not funny (well maybe if his sister texts him a joke :-? ) and means well. .
So please chill.

I'm always cool as a cucumber. My motto is attack the argument, not the person.
