Thank you Mark Reynolds, Randy Wolf, Jorge de la Rosa, Randy Wells (he and Jorge combined for 24 wins in 200 IP for my team), Howie Kendrick, and Billy Beane (for trading Holliday to the Cardinals). Special thanks go to my relief corps of Matt Thornton, Kiko Calero, Mike Wuertz, Neftali Feliz, Darren O'Day, and Luke Gregerson for putting up 200 innings of 2.25 ERA/1.05 WHIP ball and the 220-ish strikeouts. There were the usual stars but these guys were the surprise heroes of the year that led me to my championship.
Rocinante2: you know Rocinante2: its easy to dismiss the orioles as a bad team ofanrex: go on Rocinante2: i'm done Rocinante2: lmao
As crazy as it sounds, thank you Vicente Padilla. ERA/WHIP in my championship match came down to my Padilla vs. his Jason Marquis on the last day. Padilla's best start of the year couldn't have come at a better time. Won 7-3 instead of losing 5-5.
Zack Greinke, Dan Haren, Felix Hernandez, Matt Cain, and Tommy Hanson for anchoring a staff that contributed to a 2.59/1.11 ERA/WHIP for my 1st place money league squad, obliterating the 3.01/1.15 record that I set in 2003.
I'd also like to thank Erik Bedard for contributing to those fine ratios before being dealt for Troy Tulowitzki in late April (despite djxskillz's assertion that I shouldn't trade him because my staff "is NOT that strong").
