I think you can go into account settings and make it so certain people can only see certain information.

Also, make 2 accounts, one for family and co-workers and the other for friends, so when people want to add you from work or your family you add them and they don't think you're being snotty by declining them and you still have your "real" account for your friends.

5. On my facebook account I friend relatives of any age, but then, my life is very interesting so it's the least I can do to let them know what I'm up to.

I know you can hide friends, so that you don't see every time they post some "what Smurf am I" crap. But I don't think you can hide your posts from certain others. Not 100% though.

I do know you can change your language to "Pirate" which is awesome.

Mostly I'm just whining about my shotty day. I had to talk to some people who are pretty much terminal today, and a friend's daughter just found out today she's got terminal cancer, and I had an argument with my church's stupid bank, and my day off tomorrow turned into a babysitting day because my daughter's school is off for some stupid reason, and I've just about had it.
