Why am I not surprised Papelbon hits Lind when he has a chance to hit 4 homers. Papelbon is such a f-ing tool.

Not surprised......I am not even watching the game, and I wasn't the least bit surprised to see this. Pisses me off.

It's not like he drilled him in the back or went high and tight on him. The pitch went inside and Lind turned into it while swinging...it him on the elbow...I'm sure Papelbon was trying to brush him back at the least, but I doubt he was trying to actually hit him. If you watch the clip, he's obviously pissed that it hit him.

Must have missed this thread last week...my thoughts exactly. Even if he wasn't trying to hit him, that was clearly a purpose pitch, and there was no reason for it. Can't expect much more from that moron, though.

But Halladay beaned Ortiz in the 2nd the next day so it's all good. :-D

He wasn't swinging. He was trying to get out of the way.
