Those are pretty pedestrian compared to McGehee though~. I say that as someone who expects McGehee to stink next year though.

How many sacrifices & HBP's do you want to throw in their? You're already way over the number of plate appearances a Pirate will ever get.

At 22 years of age here are the pro-rated stats for Andrew if I take his 4.22 ab/g number and go with 162 games...

682 at bats

190 hits...39 doubles, 12 triples and 20 home runs

104 runs scored and 88 runs batted in

37 base thefts

127 strikeouts and 76 bases on balls. He currently is hitting .278 with an .820 OPS

He hit .286 overall in the minors with four pitstops where he hit .300+


Can you say Matt Kemp II ? :-B



Very helpful. I'm tempted to keep him with Kemp as my 2 keepers for 2010.

My boss seems to think McCutchen could have Plaxico Burress syndrome and is more likely to be arrested than bat over .280
