Hey there, I have to keep 3 players. This is the way it works in my league, in this years draft I chose Adam Dunn in the 7th round, if I want to keep him next year it would cost me a 4th round pick, (every player is minus 3 rounds). That being said here are my options for next year, I would greatly appreciate the help and as always WHIR!!
*the number in parenthesis is the round I would be forfeiting in order to get this player in 2010* Sizemore (1st round) Dunn (4th) Carlos Lee (1st round) B.J. Upton (1st round) Youkilis (1st round) Matt Cain (10th round) Aaron Hill (undrafted) Bourn (21st round)
Aaron Hill - You don't lose a draft pick I'm assuming... Matt Cain - Few SP's will be a better pick that late... Adam Dunn - You get 40 HR's and 100 RBI's like clock work...
This will still give you your top 3 picks in the upcoming draft...

Even giving up your 1st round selection I think you have to keep Sizemore. He'll have the entire off-season to get healthy, and he's a 5 tool stud and consensus 1st rounder when healthy IMO. After that I think I'd keep Cain and Hill. Hill has put up a monster season at 2B (still a bad fantasy position) and will cost you next to nothing assuming you'd have to give up your last round pick. Finally Matt Cain has really put it together this year. He's always had the potential and posted some good seasons tossing out wins (which are flukey anyways), but this year he really broke through. Giving up a 10th round pick is a steal for him. This means you'll have a staff ace without using any of your top 9 picks which is sick. You could consider keeping Dunn over Sizemore if you look around at the rest of the leagues keepers and see yourself holding the highest pick and being able to re-acquire him with your 1st round selection (which seems possible since most 1st round value players I'd imagine will be kept e.g. Pujols, Braun, Hanley, etc.), if that is the case, go with Dunn and just re-draft Sizemore since giving up a 4th for Dunn will likely net him about a round later then he'd go if everyone were back in the pool.
If you don't mind I could use some help with mine.

Those values are too good for where you get them. Sizemore is overrated IMO, and with the injury he may fall to you in the 1st if you want him back.
I am going to go with the majority. Seems like you have no issues at hand going into next season, unlike me. Check my post out and see if you have any advice, cause I am stuck on who to keep. Thanks.
I like the consensus as well. The reason I'd keep Cain over Sizemore is that depending on where your'e drafting, you canprobably snag Sizemore with your 1st pick anyway. This way you get to essentially keep 4 players for the price fo 3.
