Is there a way to post something on a thread without automatically having that thread "watched" and receiving emails when someone posts after me? I looked on the control panel but couldn't find anything. Thanks.

by watched do you mean come up on you "view your post" thing. because I have never goten emails about a post

I'm talking about if you go to the control panel and click front page, then click "manage subscriptions" and there is a list of threads that I have posted on. It says I am subscribed to them and I get emails whenever someone posts after me. Do I have to manually remove each one? Is there a page for email settings so I can stop receiving them? Thanks again, I hope I cleared it up

User control panel-->Board preferences tab-->edit posting defaults-->click no next to "Notify me upon replies by default"
