I am debating whether to dump Chris Davis, as this is the crucial first round of the playoffs and he is not very consistent.
Do I bench him in favor of McLouth
or
Do I dump Davis and grab Juan Uribe or someone else that comes to mind?

Bench him for McLouth. Nate just got back and hit a HR right off. You may want to drop Davis as well. He most likely won't do much to help you the rest of the way. Cut him for someone to hold in case of emergency.

Better to drop Davis for Juan Uribe, Placido Polanco, Podsednik, or Michael Brantley?

definitely bench him. But I think he still has too much upside to drop for the guys you mentioned. But if, at some point, there is somebody you are itching to pick up, go ahead and drop Davis.
