I am in a head to head ten team keeper league on Yahoo! which uses these stats R, H, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OBP, W, CG, SHO, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, K/BB.
I can keep between 8 to 10 players and was just looking for some advice on which players I should keep.
My Roster C A.J. Pierzynski 1B Justin Morneau 2B Ian Kinsler 3B Chipper Jones SS Yunel Escobar OF Ichiro Suzuki OF Shane Victorino OF Brad Hawpe Util Mark Reynolds BN Michael Cuddyer BN Matt Wieters
SP Javier Vazquez SP Chad Billingsley RP Joe Nathan RP Michael Wuertz P Frank Franscisco P J.P. Howell P Leo Nunez BN Zack Greinke BN Randy Wells BN Jon Lester DL Johan Santana DL Chad Qualls
What I'm thinking for keepers right now: 1B Justin Morneau 2B Ian Kinsler 3B Mark Reynolds OF Ichiro Suzuki OF Shane Victorino SP Chad Billingsley SP Jon Lester SP Johan Santana SP Zack Greinke
I'm not really sure on the tenth spot, I was thinking maybe either Javier Vazquez or Joe Nathan or possibly even Yunel Escobar seeing as shortsops are at a premium for the most part in fantasy.
I welcome any and all help I can get in regards to who these 8 to 10 players should be. Leave a link and I'll help with yours as well.
Justin Morneau Ian Kinsler Mark Reynolds Matt Wieters Ichiro Suzuki
Chad Billingsly Joe Nathan Zack Greinke Johan Santana Jon Lester
If you don't feel likekeeping 5 pitchers I would substitute Jon Lester for either Brad Hawpe or Shane Victorino (depending if you want power or speed more). Joe Nathan IMO is a elite closer second to Mariano Rivera. I like Matt Wieters as a potential breakout catcher next season and catcher is one of the hardest positions to find talent, unlike Outfield and Pitchers where there are a abundance of talent.
I would go with Morneau, Kinsler, Ichiro, Johan, Lester, Billingsley, Vazquez, Greinke, and Nathan. I don't know about your league, but Vazquez is around the op-15 range this year, and delievers a LOT of Ks.

Go 5 and 5, IMO those are your 10 best players. Im not big on keeping closers, just too inconsistent and don't offer up value each day of the week. Then i would go after all bats with the top 4-5 picks in your draft, grab a couple closers then fill out your rotation, unless a big time SP value pick is around in the top couple. You have a very strong 5 pitch herd going into the draft and just need to fill out your bats. I would of course target a SS first round and then a C before going after other bats, but again if value is there take it in a heartbeat. Good Luck!
