who would your top 3 be? NL only 5 x 5. Keep 3 hitters and 3 pitchers for a max of 3 years. This is the 3rd year so all of the top players will be back in the draft next year. I'm keeping Ethier and Manny and one of these guys
Doumit
Weeks
Conor Jackson
Maybin
Kouzmanoff
Garko
Pearce
Hermida
Gomes
Francisco
Schierholtz

Doumit -- bad year, but perhaps it's the injury; a non-outfielder
Weeks -- was finally a useful fantasy player before the injury; again, not an outfielder
Maybin -- high ceiling, maybe 2010 is the breakout 2009 was supposed to be; same position as your other keepers, but (hopefully) gives you the steals that they won't
All three are useful players.

unfortunately these are the choices, like I said since it's the 3rd year of a 3-year keeper there will be many good players available in the draft. I was hoping one of these guys would distinguish themselves as an obvious choice but that didn't happen so I need to take a flier on somebody

I know, I looked at your post late last night after 5 days on vacation and your list gave me a headache...tough choices there but I'd probably consider Weeks, Doumit and then Maybin. Weeks makes me crazy but he was actually playing pretty well before he got hurt. Doumit was also hurt so who knows what next year looks like for him and Maybin is a wild card. Do you want to keep 3 outfielders? I would assume not, so you're probably down to Weeks and Doumit...good luck with this one. Hopefully you get lucky.

I would probably go Weeks since he plays a weak positioon, looked like he was starting to put it together and looks to be at least a .280 20/20 guy. Secondly I and on the line with Doutmit, and can't really see keeping 3 outfielders when there will be plenty of options come draft time at that position.
help with mine?
