I need to/get to keep 5 players; this league has 18 teams and is H2H and 12 categories (the normal 5x5 plus OPS and K/BB).
Here is my roster
C J Mauer
1B J Votto
2B H Kendrick
SS J Rollins
3B M Prado
OF J Bay
OF S Victorino
OF R Ludwick
UTIL A McCutchen
Bench - C Rasmus
Bench N McLouth
DL - B Gardner
SP JA Happ
SP M Scherzer
SP J Hammel (Col)
RP R Franklin
RP L Nunez
RP N Perez (Tex)
P C Perez (Clev)
P J Johnson (RP Balt)
Bench R Portcello
Bench C Bucholz
DL J Peavy
This is the last week of the regular season and I was officially eliminated from the playoffs with the week that ended yesterday.
I have my own thoughts but will keep them to myself, as not to influence others' decisions.
Thanks in advance.

Better hope there is some pitching left when you get to draft day....

Mauer
Votto
Rollins
Bay
Victorino
Gets my vote as well, seems like you do just fine getting quality sp's late or off of waivers. Help with mine?

I'd also go with Mauer, Rollins, Bay, Victorino, and Votto.
If you really want to keep a pitcher, I'd go with Happ and possibly switch him with Victorino. You can always find outfield talent.
Please help with mine:

BUT... If you wanted to keep an arm for the Ace of your staff next year would definitely not fault you for keeping Peavy over Victorino. I think those 2 are virtually interchangeable, if you want a 5th bat keep the Flyin Hawaiian but if you want an Arm for next year as your 5th then keep Peavy. Thats strictly your call, but in an 18 teamer I would definitely think LONG and HARD about keeping Peavy as top quality SP is very hard to come by.

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...

I would say McCutchen over Victorino. He has a much higher ceiling.

i was thinking that until i actually looked at the stats. since McCutchen's 3-HR game he has 5 HR in 118 ABs since. not to mention you take out that 3-HR game all together (first game in of the month in August) and he has gone 30/118 equalling a .254 average. Over that stretch his whole line has been: 20R, 5HR, 14RBI, 7/11 in SB and a .254 average. I agree McCutchen's ceiling could be tremendously higher then Shane's but i don't see him topping Victorino next year who should still this year end up with 100+R, double digit HR, 60+RBI, 30+SB and an average hovering around .300 add to it the fact that Victorino battle injuries throughout the year too. i still think Vic is the better keeper for going into next year at least.

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...
