I have to lock my roster for the playoffs. I am in a head to head matchup where there are 14 categories. You get one win a week if you have the most points. Offensive Categories are R/HR/RBI/SB/BA/BB/K. Should I keep Choo or McCutchen for the playoffs? I only have one starting spot left so one would waste on the bench on most days.
Choo has been solid for me all season. McCutchen has more upside. Who is better to keep? I want to drop one to pick up a lesser more versatile player for the playoffs. Is that pure stupidity or is it savvy to protect myself with some depth at all positions?

Probably too late to help, but just want to say that I think that's a good plan. Versatility is very useful. I probably would've gone with McCutchen, but those two are very close imo, so I don't think you can make a wrong choice.
