Andrus or Barmes for the fantasy playoffs?

Postby angels7777 » Sat Sep 05, 2009 12:27 am

Ok I decided to keep Matsui and McClouth for the stretch run. Now I need to decide between Andrus and Barmes by today... I have a 1st round bye and so week 2 Barmes has to face @SF (lincecum) and @AZ while Andrus is against Oakland

Barmes power fits in better with my team, but Andrus is hitting at the top of the order with an apparently easier schedule - not sure who to go with here

I'd dump Holland, Willingham, and Furcal for Andrus, McClouth, and Matsui.

ok ill add another one for Matsui and McLouth...

now reading this right you need to choose between Barmes and Andrus correct?

If your not worried about position eligibility that you would get with Barmes then i would go with Andrus. Elvis has more opportunity and imo will have the better lineup going down the stretch. Also like you said the schedual favors Andrus in this up coming week.

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...

I just picked up Andrus, batting second in front of Kinsler and a slew of hitters. Very nice

Depends on what you need. Barmes has more pop than Andrus, but you'll have to deal with the cold snaps. Andrus has more SB potential and he isn't quite the average liability.
