Matt Lindstrom... should I keep?

Postby smurfman111 » Wed Sep 02, 2009 6:24 pm

I keep holding onto Lindstrom with the expectation that he will get the closer role back. Am I wrong to think this?

I really have no other use for him if he is not going to re-gain his closer role. What do you guys think?

Will he close again this year? If not, will he start the 2010 season as the closer?

thanks

Maybe worth hanging on to this year. That would depend on who you are looking to pick up. I would not consider him a good keeper though. This would depend on how many keepers and who would you not keep if you kept him.

Well we are allowed to keep our entire roster so that is not an issue. It is just whether there is a chance he will regain his closer role so I can get some needed saves down the road.

If he is likely to regain the closer role than I will keep him. Our league is so deep that any closer is a huge asset.

Roster please, and FAs (look to the very back of your FA list for both pitchers and batters and post them).

I appreciate your guys' responses but all I want to know is whether Lindstrom will regain the closer role sometime in september. I need saves for this year's playoff race. If he won't regain the close role soon, I don't have use for him as a keeper for next season.

thanks for your input
