meee too. De la Rosa was huge last night I got Morrow, Beckett, and A.Sanchez going tonight
I would never, ever throw Anibal Sanchez out there during a playoff week unless my era/whip was already blown to pieces and I just needed counting stats like Ks and Ws.
Thats exaxtly my position after Nolasco and Jiminez
Who would have thought ? Lincecum/Haren and Halliday all suck on same day. We do 2 week playoffs and this 2nd week of semifinals. Going in to today was one win ahead and minutely ahead in Whip . Figured I was a goner but no its onto the two week finals for me!
This week is the first week of my h2h finals. 20 cats which is kind of nuts, but my team has dominated the entire season. Finished the season in 1st by almost 100 "games"
Anyway, I have always played roto because I like it a lot more than h2h. So I'm wondering, what's the policy on streaming pitchers in a 2 week final? Basically, if my opponent doesn't, I won't have to to beat him.
I'm hesitant to concern myself too much with maxing the # of starts I can squeeze in, because ERA WHIP, Walks, ER can all get killed by that. But also, we have Quality Starts, Wins, Complete Games and Ks.
My starters look like, Gallardo (shut down), Josh Johnson, Kershaw, Carpenter, Nolasco, Price, Tim Hudson, James Shields.
It's tough for me to trust like Homer Bailey to go out and have a good start...
