Ruined my near-perfect ERA...it might come back to haunt me...especially when Greinke left his game early today.
The missed call on ball 4 to Green was clearly bad, but I don't know how anyone says that Green didn't check his swing on that pitch earlier in the at-bat. They showed the view from the side during the broadcast and it was very obvious he did check it in plenty of time. I think the ESPN highlights only showed the angle from behind the pitcher, where Green's body language made it look like he swung.
That said, Fuentes only has himself to blame for getting into the jam in the first place with two quick walks, then needing Figgins to make a fabulous stop to prevent the tying run from scoring. Although I guess he can blame Juan Rivera for being the laziest mofo I've ever seen going after the game winning single.
