Phew... I don't start until next week... 2 weeks if i clinch the all-important first round bye. I did clinch a playoff spot, however. I'm still nervous though.
I'm playing semi-finals in two leagues... it is indeed nerve-racking.
My big-money-league team's been great up until now, but in a cruel twist of timing, injuries are starting to take hold. Nyjer broke his hand, and I've got Ichiro, B Molina, Carlos Gonzalez, and Brandon Phillips all nursing injuries + David Wright comes back tomorrow, but rumoured to be playing "every other game" upon his return. Hopefully I can hang on.
I had an extremely disappointing regular season, clinching the final playoff berth on the last week of the season (pool is $3100 to date). However, I had the 2nd best stats according to roto standings so match ups killed me all year.
I am playing the team that had the best overall stats during the year. It won't be easy but I'm hoping for a huge upset. Off to an excellent start today but it will be a long week for sure.

what was the quality of your opponents like? What was your Pyt. H2H Rec.?

Ahh love the playoffs. Love the set up my 12t league has. Two divisions 6 each . Top three in each div make playoffs and following year form the winners division other three the loser division. We try and reduce playoff luck factor by using two week scoring periods for playoffs except for first week when 1st plc teams get bye and 2/3 play each other one week.
Winner is guanteed 950 to 1200 bucks depending where he finished in division.
