If he lands on the DL, does anyone know who will be taking his place in the closers role?

speculation is that it will be guiterrez, and possibly schlereth getting a few looks as well. anyone know how qualls MRI went last night? it was reported that he would get an MRI last night, and the public would be informed about it monday morning. need to know if i have to drop him in my money league playoffs and pick up someone who is actually playing.

I would like to know as well. I have seen a lot of speculation ranging from at least a couple of days to the rest of the year. Come on good MRI :-o

This just in from rotoworld:
"Diamondbacks team physicians have recommended surgery for Chad Qualls and his dislocated left kneecap.
Qualls isn't expected to seek another opinion. He will only need three or four months for recovery once the procedure is finished, which should leave him enough time to get ready for the start of spring training 2010."
