Yahoo! Playoffs - Consolation Bracket?????

Our 12 team, H2H league has been using Yahoo! for several years. We have used two divisions with the top 6 teams making the playoffs since last year. The bottom six then go to the consolation bracket. This year, we have no consolation bracket and when I set the league up, there wasn't an option to either include or exclude the consolation. This is a major issue for us as the winner of the consolation bracket gets to choose their draft slot for 2010 (keeper league) and then each team thereafter down to the league champion picks their spot.

No response from Yahoo yet, but anyone else out there know anything about the set-up? Did I screw this up somehow when I set the league up? Is this a change from the past?

The Genie, a Cafe regular, works for Yahoo and thinks there may be a solution to the problem. Hopefully we will have our consolation brackets back soon.

Nothing happened in my league so far, and playoffs start Monday. We have the same problem in that winning the Consolation Bracket is significant for next year. I've sent an e-mail to Yahoo, and they say I will get a response in the next 24 hours...

Don't bank on anything from customer care...they are worthless. I've talked to Genie and he's checking into it. Thinks it can be worked out soon, but nothing yet...

My consolation bracket appears to be set as I the matchups are listed for this week. I just can't see the bracket anywhere and had to write it up for myself.

Bracket still isn't showing, but Genie says they're working on some bugs. Matchups are in place for the consolation, so I'm keeping a paper copy of the bracket for my own purposes.
