Wells opened the game by walking Nyjer Morgan(notes), who stole second and third and scored on Cristian Guzman’s(notes) double. After the game, Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo said Morgan broke a bone in his left hand while sliding headfirst into third and wouldn’t play again this season.

that is a huge blow to a teams speed, but luckily Davis was available so really no difference to me...
