playoff push help! WHIR!!!

Postby 802GREENS » Mon Aug 24, 2009 9:39 pm

Ok, so i am in a 12 team ESPN h2h points keeper league. My team is first in the division, but second overall. The problem is that with Hiroki Kuroda on the DL and recent shortcomings of my other starting pitchers. Who do you think could be a steady arm in my rotation on the WW? Its a fairly competitive league and the trade deadline has gone by. I was considering Fausto Carmona? maybe not.. WHIR!!!!

it's hard to answer this without knowing who is on the waiver wire in your league. You have to do some research there, I could name 50 guys and some may be on the ww, some will be on rosters.

here are some names to throw out to look for:

John Smoltz
Anibel Sanchez
Mark Rzepczynski
Tommy Hunter
Jonathan Sanchez

Some of these guys might be on the ww, depending on your league. I'm currently trying to decide if I should take Sanchez or Smoltz as both are on my leagues ww, Also, is Tim Hudson available? He is coming back soon. How about Dallas Braden? those guys are probably gone, but look 'em up.

Please see if you have any advice on mine, even though it looks like we have similar questions:
