Update: I just traded Zobrist and Fowler for J.Reyes, so I adjusted my list.
5x5, 12 team league, keep 12 guys.
Here are my definite's so far:
C C 1B 2B 3B Zimmerman SS Reyes CI MI A.Ramirez OF BJ Upton OF Rasmus OF Mclouth OF OF UTIl
(we start 10 pitchers a week) P King Felix P Peavy
Also, we have a five person minor league squad we can carry into next year. I have J.Borbon and Eric Young, who I can prob slot in at 2B and OF next year. Plus M.Bumgarner for my pitching staff.
So I have 8 of my 12 keepers decided, plus I have 3 farm team guys who should contribute next year.
Help me decide on my last 4 keepers. Here are the choices:
OF K.Blanks OF Carlos Gonzalez OF C.Hart 1B C.Pena OF Ibanez 2B Kendrick UTIL D.Ortiz P C.Bucholz P JP Howell P Dice-K P Marmol P Volstad
Thanks in advance!

I think I keep Fowler, Bucholz, Marmol, Volstad. This way you have 5 solid pitchers going in and since you start 10 you are half way there. You could argue for keeping Ibanez I guess but tough call to drop someone else for him (maybe Volstad if you want less pitching going in)
even tho you start a ton of pitchers you gotta look at value... my last 4 would be Carlos Pena, Raul Ibanez, JP Howell and then the last would be between Clay, Blanks, CarGo, Dice-K... Clay should be roster worthy all of next year, but who knows with Boston? Blanks has been red hot over the last month and is finally getting good PT although you already have, counting Ibanez, 4 OF keepers so i would pass. CarGo again just got red hot over the last month or so, but that Colorado OF is just way too packed to be able to call CarGo a keeper and depend on him from day one next year. then there is Dice-K he was sweet the last 2 years, then this year just can't get on and stay on the field to contribute. i guess its your call, which BoSox SP are you more comfortable with? for sure Pena, Ibanez, Howell for your last 3, and Clay or Dice-K for the fourth and final...
i would go pena, bucholz, Ibanez ....i think he will still be a solid contributor next year in that line-up and lastly i would go howie kendrick it looks like hes figured things out in the second half of the season and will be a good a keeper at shallow position.
Fowler: starting CF for a high scoring team which is only gettng better Bucholz: good, young SP for a winning team...bound to improve Ibanez: gets to play 81 games on a high school field and hits in a great line up Pena: hard to pass on a 40/100 guy
Ibanez- hitting in Philly will help quell father time Pena- I hate power hitters who have low batting avg, but he can crush them. Hart- should be fine from appendicitis next year, and should bounce back just fine. Solid 20+/20+ guy, definitely worth a keep Buchholz- young, getting better, has great stuff, maturing nicely, plays on solid team.
