McLouth dropped in my league.

Postby Thursday » Sat Aug 22, 2009 1:09 am

There's a guy in my league that always drops injured players.... I don't really know why he does, but he does. Anyway...

McLouth was dropped in my league, and I'm thinking of snagging him for the stretch run of the playoffs. Thinking of dropping one of Chris Coghlan, Carlos Gonzalez, or Ryan Ludwick for him. Which would be the best option, or stay put? Roster, if neccessary:

12-team, H2H, 6x6 league (R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG., OPS. for hitters, and W, SV, K, Holds, ERA, WHIP for pitchers).

Keeper league, we keep 4:

C - Brandon Inge
1B - Ryan Howard
2B - Chase Utley
3B - Marco Scutaro
SS - Troy Tulowitzki
OF - Jason Bay
OF - Jacoby Ellsbury
OF - Michael Bourn
Util - Jason Bartlett
B - Chris Coghlan
B - Carlos Gonzalez
B - Ryan Ludwick

SP - Hamels, E. Jackson, Gallardo, Lester, Blanton, Pedro Martinez
RP - F. Cordero, Capps, Wood, Frasor

I can help in return if you leave a link.

It would probably have to be Coghlan for me.

Don't drop Carlos Gonzalez, he's on a torrid streak and it looks like he is just starting to get used to big league pitching.

Ludwick isn't doing so hot this month, but he did hit .340 in July and with Pujols and Holliday infront of him, he should still be getting quality pitches to hit down the stretch.

So, I'd go with Coghlan. However, if this is a keeper league, drop Ludwick.
Jay Bruce is mah franchize. I love you Chris Davis!

They've all been hot but I'm going Coghlan as he doesn't really bring as much power potential of the other choices.
