Veto trade? Please help...fast WHIR

I'm the commish of a keeper league. I tend not to veto trades, but this seems unbalanced. Please post your thoughts and I'll help you out if you leave a link.

Team A receives: Cole Hamels, Matt Cain, Jason Bay

Team B receives: Elvis Andrus, Jason Kubel

Yeah, it does seem unbalanced.... however, if you were to veto a trade, remember, you're opening up the window for controversy and argument. It pains me to say so, but just let this trade go through.

Help out:

I pretty much never veto, but trades like this are what vetos are made for. Ridiculously unbalanced. I'd suspect some sort of collusion.

I've played for years and never vetoed a trade until a couple of weeks ago. I hate to see trades vetoed, but sometimes people push the envelope way to far. This trade certainly seems suspicious. I assume that the team receiving the most is the team fighting for the lead and the other team is out of the race?

Regardless, trades are supposed to be made in a manner such that both teams benefit. Just based on the info you've posted, I'd have to vote against this trade...

What are the keeper rules? I hate to veto trades, first off, and, if the keeper rules allow for long term keepers (and contracts), Team B could be getting the better end for the next few years, while Team A gets a lot better this year.

Pitching is a wild card, and Kubel and Andrus are both younger than Bay. So. I'd say it depends on the keeper rules.

Help with mine:

It really all depends on the circumstances surrounding the trade. if this happened in may or june i might be inclined to simply let team A get away with a ripoff. however, this late in the season my guess is something else is going on. you need to speak to both owners (esp team B) and ask what the rationale for this trade was.

If this is a keeper league, then we need to see the 2010 prices of the players involved to make an informed decision.

Yeah, I never veto trades but this one meets my extreme stink criteria. :-{

Sorry but I don't see the point around this trade at all for team B. No draft picks going anywhere? Are there keeper value rules that may add some sense here?

You're the commish, so evaluate these managers history, and also come right out and ask wtf. Not only consider the veto, IMO I'd put both these managers on the short leash if there is no reasonable justification here.
