Reimold, Dukes or Milledge?

Postby jordan9148 » Thu Aug 20, 2009 12:26 pm

I'm making a last minute push for the playoffs, and need to know what I need to do. Its a 14 team H2H 3 year keeper league (keep 5 players), and I'm in 5th place. Dukes, Milledge, Garko, D. Young, Francoeur are all available, should I pick up any one of them for Reimold? Any other roster suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

leave a link, I'll help you

All have potential but extremely iffy still, Garko maybe since he has the better track record, but hasn't been lights out.

Milledge is the most talented, but hasn't done anything but hit .239 with a .271 obp in Pittsburgh

Frenchy has been good for the Mets and has equaled his homer output that he had in Atlanta in less than half the at bats

Delmon started out slow but has been heating up a bit but would pass

Delwyn, has been alright in pittsburgh but wished he had more power

Dukes, has been way too inconsitent

unless Carlos Gonzalez or rajai Davis are already gone , i'd say go with Frenchy he has a lock on playing time, and has been hitting well.

help with mine?

I'd go with Dukes actually. He should be able to rack up a ton of RBI's with Zim, Dunn and Willingham hitting ahead of him.

I would go with frac but I'd rather hold onto reimold over the other guys. milledge gets more PT than reimold but he is essentially the same as starting a blank spot in your lineup.

Dukes is in the middle of a bad slump. He could break out any day but since he is a head case he'll probably continue the slide. I can't even give him away.
Your options aren't the best but I lean toward Reimold from this group.
