This story makes me very sad. This is an 18 year old girl that the entire world is laughing at. If she does have an elevated level of testosterone then it certainly isn't her fault and it likely has led to enough heartache in her life already. She's taken lemons and made lemonade, good for her. The IAAF had no reason to do this so publicly.

Agreed. The press is running with this like a bunch of grade-school boys, too. If she is a girl, and we have no reason to suspect she's not, there are a lot of apologies she's going to be owed that she's never going to collect on.

And why single her out? A lot of those other runners aren't the most feminine looking women I've ever seen.

Flexing her guns after she wins the race and dusting the dirt of her shoulders doesn't seem to be helping her case much though. But to each their own.
