Agreed. The press is running with this like a bunch of grade-school boys, too. If she is a girl, and we have no reason to suspect she's not, there are a lot of apologies she's going to be owed that she's never going to collect on.

And why single her out? A lot of those other runners aren't the most feminine looking women I've ever seen.
Flexing her guns after she wins the race and dusting the dirt of her shoulders doesn't seem to be helping her case much though. But to each their own.
