Injured, doesn't sound severe just fouled a ball off his knee and had to leave the game...

Kubel left Tuesday's game in the first inning with a leftt knee contusion after fouling a ball off his leg, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Recommendation: Brendan Harris replaced him at DH. Kubel hurt himself while batting in the first inning.

It looked painful. He went down hard. I'd be surprised to see him in the remainder of the Texas seiers but I bet he'll be back by the weekend.

That would be my expectation too although with Morneau sidelined, the Twins need his bat more than ever. That said, they did rattle up eight tonight without either of them.

Is it the same knee he had problems with a couple years back? If so it's something that might linger for a little while.
