I have a 1st baseman in Sexson. Just wondering if I should plug my utility spot with D. Lee or keep Sosa. I think Sosa will decline in numbers and Lee will improve. What do you guys think?
Even if he's declining, Sosa still hit 40 HR in a season when the league leader hit 47. Plus he missed 25 games and he was hurt for many of the games he appeared in.
I think it is reasonable to theorize Lee could have a equal or better year than Sosa. To, me, Sosa is pretty solid, and I'd rather go, at least start, with a guy who I think is already solid rather than a guy who will "soon become" solid. (If that babble makes any sense at all). Sosa it is, but i might try to package sexson in a deal to get a solid SP and start Lee at first, and keep Sosa at Util.

I would try to get a better starter than L. Hernandez. I don't think he is an upgrade. Thats what i was saying, give the guy sexson instead of sosa, maybe throw in a middle closer, or a steals guy, and get lee and say, randy wolf, zambrano, or freddy garcia, someone like that.
