We're doing a 4 player keeper league, auction format. We're subtracting the amount our keepers were drafted for from our total available to spend going into next years draft. I have 5 great keepers (guys who were drafted for low $, and thus have great value going into next year). Which 1 of these 5 should I not keep for 2010?
Matt Wieters..... @ $7
Justin Verlander.. @ 10
Clayton Kershaw.. @ 7
Mark Reynolds.... @ 3
Nelson Cruz....... @ 2
Thanks for the input guys!
Adam

I would say Reynolds, Kershaw, and Wieters must be kept, especially if you can keep them forever at that value.
The other answer depends on the amount of teams in the league and roster size.
Probably Verlander if you can keep them long term, Nelson Cruz if only for 2010. But that depends again on the cap, roster size, and # of teams.
