Should I trade Reyes in H2h keeper league

Postby oakscorps » Thu Aug 13, 2009 5:19 pm

7x7 12 team H2H 8 keepers, in second place and struggling with some pitching cats like Win, Losses, and ERA. Here is my team, as you can see I have 10 possible keepers so although Reyes will hurt some if lost for keepers he wouldnt kill me. Is he worth sacrificing this year to try and win or should I hold onto him and just hope my team can not only finish in Top 2 to get bye week in playoffs but also hope my pitching holds up for me to win it all????

Yes but I was thinking more of something like Reyes for Lincecum or Holiday since both teams have horrible SS and are out of playoffs. THey might trade one of them for Reyes if there thinking next year

If I were him, I wouldn't do that trade, just because of Reyes year this year. Naturally, if he's healthy, then sure. But who knows if he's damaged goods? It's too risky to give up Lincecum or Holiday for him. You can certainly ask though.

If you're serious about winning this year, you might package him with a couple other players, especially if he doesn't have 10 clear-cut keepers. If I'm him, I could take the risk on the injured Reyes if he's packaged with someone else that might also serve as a keeper.

Good luck!
