I'm currently carrying both Miguel and Geovany. I need the roster spot. I'm very tempted to cut Soto loose and ride Montero. Does Soto come to life during the rest of the season?
i really dont know what is up with soto. i targeted him in just about every redraft league last year, and didnt really like where he was going this year. granted, i never saw this coming, and i dont know the specifics of his problem, but id have to say let him go at this point.

I agree with the above. Soto has struggled all year and hasn't improved much since coming off the DL. I'd ride Montero through the end of the year. I'm guessing that even if Soto starts to do better, the difference between the two will be marginal and I'd guess the player you want instead will help more.
I'm going to have to agree with all of the above posters as well. With less than 60 games left, I think it's a real stretch to assume Soto will turn it around any time this season - Montero, however, it is epitome of the hot hand, so I think you have to ride it til it dies. Maybe you end up having to platoon him with another WW guy when/if he cools off, but I really (sadly) think Geovany is done til next season as far as relevant fantasy production
Since there is nothing to suggest that soto is on the verge of turning it around I'd have to stick with the hot hand in montero. Pretty tough decision though I must admit...
as you know i have soto in boomer's league. i wasn't very high on him to begin with... he is going to be had very cheap next year at least... that is, if the other owners in your league overvalue him again next year.
