Justin Upton WHIR

I said he was available because of his injury and the best deal I got was Jarrod Washburn.

Any news regarding his status? And should I pull the trigger since this looks like the best I'll get??

Well how bad is your pitching? Based on sheer value I would not do this trade, but then again I have no idea what situation your team is in.

12 Team H2H. Battling for playoffs, currently in 6th.

I have a strong OF with Holliday, Braun, Choo, McCutcheon and Soriano.
We start 3 OFs with 1 Util.

SPs are the following:
J. Vasquez
Hamels
Kershaw
Kazmir
Jurrjens
Zito

I could use a better arm, considering the inconsistencies of my pitchers (outside of Vasquez).

But from a sheer value point of view this is the best I can get apparently for Upton. And my main concerns are will he return, and if he does will he perform close to what he has been so far?

Washburn will be facing better competition as a Tiger, and didn't look sharp in his first start as a Tiger. Great ERA but doesn't give you a lot of strikeouts.

Upton his a better OF'r then you other options too. Exlcuding Braun and Holliday.

I'm sure Upton will be fine when he returns, it's just a matter of when that is.

Yea I dont do this trade either. Your staff is not weak and Upton is potentially a two OF on your team when preforming highly. Keep Jupton.
