Is this trade just terrible? Vetoable?

Postby Yankeesin05 » Thu Aug 13, 2009 1:51 am

It's a 16 team H2H league. It's been going on for 4 years and we keep 15 players every year. This trade was proposed to me so all I had to do was accept it. Well I did and now the entire league is getting all pissed saying I'm completely ripping the guy off and it's completely unfair if it goes through. I posted this trade here a couple days ago and everyone told me to accept it, but not that it was overwhelmingly in my favor. What do you think?

I'm getting Bartlett, Granderson, and Cain

trading away Rollins, C Zambrano, J Zimmermann, and Slowey

I even told the other manager that Zimmermann was having Tommy John and he still wanted to do it. In 4 years of this league there's never been a trade to get vetoed and the way these guys are talking, it looks like this might be the first.

EDIT: I also think another reason people are complaining is that I'm in 2nd and the manager that is trading with me is in last. I guess they think he is dumping players or something, idk.

Not vetoable. In a keeper league, almost no trade involving prospects is vetoable.

shouldnt be vetoed. theyre basically calling the other manager stupid for proposing this, which is very nice of them. tell them to grow up. seemingly lopsided trades happen all the time both in fantasy and real life, but there's no way of knowing until more time has gone by
