12 team h2h league. basic 5x5 scoring. 6 of 12 teams make playoffs i am currently in 9th place 33 games back of 1st. we keep 12 players...

I just traded Ryan Ludwick (didn't like as a keeper), Roy Oswalt (one of my last keepers), and J.A. Happ (probably wasn't going to keep) for BJ Upton, Lance Berkman, and Carlos Zambrono. How did I make out on that one? I really like it.

After this trade is processed do I flip Berkman and a young OF for Adrian Gonzalez? A-Gone's team is listed below mine.

C Matt Wieters
1B José López
2B Howie Kendrick
3B David Wright
SS Alexei Ramírez
OF Jason Bay
OF Ryan Ludwick
OF Ben Zobrist
Util Chris Davis
BN Justin Upton
BN Jay Bruce
BN Travis Snider
BN Alocides Escobar (just picked up) Hoping for hot start to flip him for a ton...

SP Roy Oswalt
SP Ricky Nolasco
RP Joakim Soria
RP Frank Francisco
P Tommy Hanson
P Clay Buchholz
P Yovani Gallardo
BN J.A. Happ
DL Brandon Webb

His Team:
Víctor Martínez, Justin Morneau, Dan Uggla, Miguel Cabrera, Stephen Drew, Carlos Quentin, Nelson Cruz, Adrián González, Chone Figgins, Torii Hunter, Zack Greinke, Cliff Lee, Heath Bell, Fernando Rodney, Justin Verlander, Chris Volstad, Brad Bergesen, Ryan Dempster, A.J. Burnett, and Max Scherzer.

What do you think of Gonzalez and Drew for Berkman, Bruce/Snider, Alexei/Zobrist,and Webb??? Is that too much?

i think you'd be giving up too much. and i think that as long as he has Morneau, he has no major need for Berkman. if I were him and wanted to move AGonz, I'd look to pick up a stud in another position.

help me?

i like the first deal for sure, getting Upton and Berkman for basically Ludwick is a great deal, i think Oswalt will be in and out of the lineup the rest of the year cuz i think his back is still affecting him more then he wants us to believe and it will show on the field... Happ and ZambrAno are just throw ins and not too too much of purpose in the deal... good deal for you tho... IMO i would keep Upton and Berkman simply because of this: Socia plays way too much with that LA lineup and when Kendrick cools a bit again he will be back in and OUT of the lineup, so keep Berk, slide Lopez into your 2B void and Berk into your 1B slot, then rotate Kendrick and Escobar in at UTIL until J-UP comes back to play UTIL fulltime for you... play kendrick when you need Ave help and Escobar when you need more SB... good luck but giving up Berk/Bruce or even Berk/Snider for AGon i think is WAY over paying for AGon when Berkman himself can produce what AGon does, PLUS more RBI and better Average...

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...
