Adam Jones and Mo for Jay Bruce and Scherzer WHIR

Postby kmoneybags » Tue Aug 11, 2009 10:59 pm

12 teams. standard 5X5. 6 regular keepers with a farm system. *Franchise player

I give: Jones (free thru 2010 season) and Mariano

I get: Bruce and Scherzer (both free thru the 2010 season)

My team
c- Posada / Wieters (free for the next 3 years)
1b- M-Cab
2b- Roberts
3b- A-Rod
ss- Jeter
of- Sizemore, BJ Upton, Justin Upton*
util- Adam Jones (free thru the 2010 season)
bn- Matsui, gutierrez, callaspo

sp- Kershaw and Joba (both free thru 2010)
Cliff Lee, Wandy, Volstad,

rp- mo, rafael soriano, hoffman, brian wilson

I'm pretty much fighting for 4th or 5th place at this point. I like keeping Scherzer for free but I'm having a tough time parting with Jones for Bruce. What's the call?

I would not trade Jones -- you have an awesome young outfield in place -- just to get a guy who will kill your BA (Bruce) and a 3rd or 4th SP. Stay put.

I like Jones over Bruce so I wouldn't do this deal.
