Kinsler/Blalock for Rollins and Mauer

Postby rich_16 » Tue Aug 11, 2009 4:44 pm

I am in a 12 team, 4 player keeper league, standard roto. My potential keepers are: Tex, Miggy, Kemp, Markakis, Mauer, Rollins. I am in the middle of the pack and am trying to consolidate keepers for upgrades. I have no hope to compete for the top 4 this year.

I was offered this today:

My Rollins and Mauer for his Kinsler and Blalock.

On the WW for C: Yadier Molina, Suzuki.

Our trade deadline is 8/16.

Any thoughts/help would be appreciated. WHIR.

well with a 4 keeper league, outfileders and 1B are less valuable due to the talent pool and the scarce positions would be Middle Infield and Catcher I would keep Tex, Miggy, Mauer and Rollins IMO, but if you think differently you can get much more for for Rollins andMauer, also I might think about trading Tex for Utley or Kinsler and get a rare keeper gem at 2B

100% agree!! Keep the best catcher in the league.

Justin Upton is the only OF'r I would trade for in a keeper league.

Typically I would agree, but this league has a history (7 years old) of over valuing offense. I think there were only 6 pitchers kept coming into this season.

I guess this is a decent spot to be in. I am going to put feelers out for other options, possibly to increase my draft position. But I agree on the Mauer/Rollins too much for Kinsler. Thanks.
