Which 3 do I keep for 2010? WHIR

Postby CubsFan4Life23 » Tue Aug 11, 2009 3:05 pm

12 Team Yahoo 5x5 H2H keeper league...I need to keep 3 and am in first at the moment. Should I try to deal some of my guys for someone elite? Also, who are my top 3 or 4 guys who I should be considering keeping for next season?

My Team:
Soto
Montero
Konerko
Berkman
Laroche
Kinsler
Velez
Tulowitzki
MCab
Ellsbury
Bay
Hawpe
Upton DL

Billingsley
Burehle
Greinke
Price
Scherzer
Nolasco
Peavy DL
Papelbon
Franklin

Any help is appreciated and leave your links!

I'd Keep Upton, Chad, and Kinsler.

Offensive production like that from 2B is a great keeper, but the third could be discussed.

I think its Upton, Kinsler, and MCab. Thats a great first 3 picks imo.

Thanks.

Kinsler, Miggy, and hmmm...there's credence to freezing J Up, Ellsbury, or Tulo...I personally would freeze Tulo if he keeps up his current 30/20 pace.

I agree that the first two are set with Kinsler and Miggy. 3rd is close between JUp or Tulo. At this point I may lean towards Tulo.

Kinsler, MCab, and Billingsley.

As for your other question, should you trade some for a better keeper? NO.
You are in first place. That doesn't come along often.

Take Cabrera and/or Billingsley and deal them for a bunch of parts to someone who is building for next year.

Billingsly is good, but with only 3 keepers there's bound to be all kinds of great pitching left. Protect that offense. I also agree with the above selection.
