Id say Kinsler being on the DL or Upton could be improvements both who have a history of injury though...otherwise I love Morneau or Braun

Swing Bay and Vazquez for A-Rod -- I dealt for A-Rod recently and think he will have a good finish and really come up big next year too.

I think the Arod deal is still pretty darn good and since it is on the table you might really want to accept it. Ar0d is on the older side, so he probably only has a few years left, but over the next few years there will be new talent to be had. Arod is a surefire 1st rounder next year, unless he gets hurt (which is a risk for sure). But your goal should be to win next year, and getting Arod would help.

There are guys I would prefer to Arod in a keeper, but a bird in the hand . . .

Maybe try for J. Upton too, I think he will rival Ryan Braun as early as next year, heck he was rivalin him this year until he got injured.

I agree. And remember, even when Arod ages, he becomes a DH in that lineup in that park. He will continue to produce big # for quite some time.

Thanks for the response on my question.

If you can get pretty much ANY of the players listed for Bay/Vazquez, do it. Vazquez has zero value to you as he won't be in your top 6 at the end of the season. If you aren't competing this year, then your top 6 is all that matters. If you can get ARod for Bay and any combination of your non-keepers, you have to do it. Even with ARod coming of a hip injury, his 162 game average for this season is over 40 HR, 120 RBI and 15 SB. He's going to be fine, especially playing in that little league field.

try giving good advice when you help others out, then i actually would WHIR. Your answer was basically rephrasing my question to you, so thank you for nothing.

I accepted the ARod deal. Thanks for all your advice. Theres a chance it wont pass the veto process as there has been some concern but I think that most likely it will.
