You're seriously joking right? There was absolutely no choice in kicking Youkilis out......he's the thug in this situation for throwing his helmet at a defenseless player.

More teams should adapt Boston's strategy.....let's just charge the mound and get the opposition's SP kicked out of the game because we know the crowd will whine enough and the ump will kick both out.....that way we we tax the other team's bullpen for this game and the remainder of the series.

I um never said Youkilis shouldn't have been tossed. And so should have Porcello for throwing at him after throwing at Martinez, the batter before him.

You're telling me you don't find this possible? I'm sure Boston's aware of how weak Detroit's long relief is (look what happened in the ten minutes after)......even though Martinez wasn't hit, I'm sure the umpires were aware that some sort of tension was building.....so when he hits Youk, he knows both will get kicked out if he charges the mound.....what if he had just gone to first base and not charged? You think they would have kicked Porcello out then? I don't think so.

Youk looked like a total gine. After missing with the ol helmet toss (standard gine move), he still can't bring down a back-peddling pitcher. I'll say it again. Back-peddling pitcher.

I'd like to see a Youk v. Chan Ho Park matchup. Which gine would prevail?
