Youklis (like most of the Red Sox) is a whiny Bi#ch! Here's hoping he gets a good suspension!
I'm sick of all the unwritten rules regarding throwing at players. The best players in baseball hit ~.333, meaning 1 in 3 times. If your a halfway decent team, getting somebody on means you have a pretty good chance of scoring a run, which leads to winning games.
Even so, if you get hit because your pitcher intentionally threw at someone on the other team, why don't you charge/yell at/fight your pitcher (and/or manager) when you get back to the dugout.
Can't beat the yankess and probably started to realize they can't beat the tigers without 'taking out' their best player - and they just traded some solid players for a guy they'll realize can't play catcher full time, or hit in clutch situations - Ouch!

Given the history over the past two days it's not surprising that Porcello was tossed (he threw at Victor in the first and they had a 3 run lead), though if you're watching on NESN, Eckersely (finally) makes some good points about how he doesn't think the bean was intentional.
Watch the Youtube video above...unless your a biased Sox fan, Youks hands got nowhere even close to Porcello's face...he actually had him wrapped up in a football-like tackle, and still got tossed down.
How can you say Porcello "threw at Victor?" He threw it inside, and MISSED him.
Given the history over the past 2 days, Tazawa should also have been tossed then when the Tigers best hitter was hit for the 2nd consecutive day.
Tigers got the short end in the jobbing.
Not as they went down, but when they were rolling Youk had Porcello by the face. Not saying Youk "won", he definitely got his momentum used against him...and unless you're a biased Tigers fan, you can't say that throwing at two out of four batters isn't reason for being tossed. He may have MISSED Victor, but that pitch had a purpose. And Cabs swung into the pitch that hit him. Not quite as blatant as the one to Youk.
A couple plays later Francona got tossed for arguing a play at second.
Porcello or your best hitter and the manager... Which team got jobbed?

Youkilis got tossed by a pitcher...'nuff said lol.
As for the inside fastball thrown at Martinez...well, that's exactly what it was...an inside fastball lol.
Last I checked those are perfectly fine pitches...just because Martinez complained and made a scene of the pitch doesn't mean it was meant for him lol
Francona was arguing a play that was clearly a nice throw out at 2nd by the catcher...that's his own damn fault lol.
Youkilis can be argued as their best hitter, but it certainly doesn't hurt their offense. The guy who came in for him hit 2 HR...so you really don't have legs to stand on in that argument.
I'd say the Tigers losing their SP hurts a little bit more than Youks. Lambert came in and gave up 3 HR, 5 ER...would have been a little different had Porcello still been on the mound.

Really? so now Lowell is the Sox best hitter based on one night results?
As for the rest of your post, nothing else is worth arguing, you're obviously a biased Tigers fan, and I'm a realist

Hmmm... They're 8-4 against the Yankees this season. That's pretty good. They're 4-0 pending tonight (going to 5-0?) against the Tigers this season. That's pretty good too. I'll miss Masterson, but trading a middle reliever slash spot starter for a catcher with an 832 career OPS works for me. Damn those quantifiable clutch situations!

Lol...ok guy
"Nothing else is worth arguing" aka I can't defend myself anymore.
Never said Lowell is the best Sox hitter either...pointed out the fact that while Youks may be their best, they certainly have other power to supplement the loss of him. And not to mention Lowell stepped in and hit 2 HR off the guy who replaced Porcello.

Lost 4 straight to a hot Yankees team who are running away with the East, so kudos for the head-to-head nod. I'm sure the Yanks will take an East title over an overall season record.
And he was pointing out the fact that the Sox have thrown at Cabrera 2 nights in a row...clearly something is up there.
Being a Tigers fan I'd say throwing at Youkilis is justified. If you're going to throw at my best player on consecutive nights that **** isn't going to fly, and I'm glad Porcello threw one at that piece of white trash...he can have fun sitting a few games.
I am a biased Tigers fan BUT I don't think you'll find too many people to agree with you that the Sox lost more when Youk/Porcello got tossed. You could replace him with A Pujols and losing your SP and having to put in 'whoever the hell that was' is clearly a huge blow!
As good a Victor is as a hitter, he is not a Catcher anymore, you already have Youk, Lowell, Kotchman and Ortiz (and Lars in the minors) to play 1B/DH ... and IF they make the playoffs (doubtful after the beating the Yanks just put on em) they WILL miss having Masterson (they probably already do)...
your other points are rediculous, so I don't need to waste my time but...
I hope Youk doesn't get suspended for another night or two so Gallaraga and Verlander can get their licks in too! haha!
Last night Youk got hit the inning after Cabs did.
Tonight Cabs gets *hit* in the hand while swing at a pitch. The bottom half of the inning Porcello trims for Victor's beard. Top second Cabs hand hurts too much to continue. (Who has female genitals again?) Bottom second Youk takes it off the back.
I agree that if you hit someone on purpose, the other team should come back at you. Throwing at someone and then plunking someone else, compared to being hit by a pitch you were swinging at...kinda different. It's OK you think it isn't, you're trying to support your team.
Damn umps...that steal of third by Ellsbury and balk by Perry was the Tigers getting jobbed too
