In the Top of 1, Tazawa threw one inside that hit Miguel Cabrera in the hand (2nd day in a row he's been HBP)
Also in T1, Carlos Guillen slid into 2nd and slid to the left of the bag to intentionally disrupt Pedroia on a double play ball.

In the bottom of one, Porcello threw one inside at VMart, who got his panties in his bunch and whined like a little girl.

Miggy left the game in the Top of 2...
Bottom 2, Porcello beans Youkilis in the middle of his back...Youkilis then charged at Porcello, throwing his helmet at him in the process (he missed)

When the 2 met up at the mound, Youkilis (who had a full head of steam) got his ass tossed to the ground by Porcello (which was full of win).

Benches cleared, nothing really escalated.

Youkilis and Porcello ejected...which led to Lambert relieving and giving up a 3R bomb to Jason Bay.

Francona also got tossed shortly after.

What a bunch of BS...Porcello hits one guy and gets tossed, and then the reliever gives up a bomb...nice screw job by the umps.

Lose-lose for me, being a Tigs fan and having Youkilis on my fantasy squad.

Thanks. I just read as much as I could on Sons of Sam Horn (a Red Sox forum), and they seem to think that Youk was the one who threw down Porcello (being the biased fans they are).

I still haven't seen it yet, though.

From the sounds of it, Youk will get suspended for a while. Throwing your helmet is a no-no in baseball.

I'm a Tigers fan, but believe me...Porcello tossed him lol...I was shocked...especially since Youkilis was going full boar and obviously as you know, he is a big dude.

Youk had a handful of Porcello's face and when your scampering back on your feet like a ballerina and someone is charging at you head down it's easy to get out of the way and end up with the take down. Given the history over the past two days it's not surprising that Porcello was tossed (he threw at Victor in the first and they had a 3 run lead), though if you're watching on NESN, Eckersely (finally) makes some good points about how he doesn't think the bean was intentional.

Watch the Youtube video above...unless your a biased Sox fan, Youks hands got nowhere even close to Porcello's face...he actually had him wrapped up in a football-like tackle, and still got tossed down.

How can you say Porcello "threw at Victor?" He threw it inside, and MISSED him.

Given the history over the past 2 days, Tazawa should also have been tossed then when the Tigers best hitter was hit for the 2nd consecutive day.

Tigers got the short end in the jobbing.
