Don't know anything for sure, but my guess is that Torre, who likes to use his bullpen on a regular basis, pulled him to ease him back into it. Hopefully, we'll hear more about how he's feeling today and then I expect we see him go closer to 100 pitches next time. 1 K is a bit disappointing, but a solid start, a win and no injury is awesome news for this guy!
