I'm out of it in a keeper: Trade Rollins for Zobrist?

5x5 mixed keeper. I'm in 3rd to last & rebuilding. First place team has offered me Zobrist for Rollins. Wants an uptick in SB. Rollins would have to be kept as a first rounder. Zobrst will be a 25th rounder (was a free agent pickup). No brainer?

I am still not sure about Zobrist doing this again, but the question boils down to this:

(1) Will I have to reach higher than a 25th Rounder to get Zobrist? Absolutely.
(2) Is Rollins still worth a first round pick? Maybe

So, yes, you do this deal, but first you search to see if he'll throw in anything else (and you can do the same).

Do you have a 3rd rounder performing like a 5th rounder, where he has a 12th rounder performing like a 10th rounder. Swap them.

Initially, I sided no, but reading what you have explained, I think it makes a great deal of sense. Pending your finish, you could end up with Rollins next year after redraft as I doubt he will be kept as a 1st round pick.

I would do this.

Even if Zobrist dosent perform this well next year, he will be kept as a 25th rounder, so you wont really get hurt there. And like someone said you can redraft Rollins next year if you want.
