Keeper League Trade Help (WHIR)

Postby Gomez427 » Sat Aug 08, 2009 5:07 pm

12 Team H2H 6X6 (With OPS and QS), I am playing for next year right now.

Offered:

Rios
Soria

for

Pence
Chamberlain

For me it comes down to Soria or Chamberlain. Soria is super young stud closer, but saves value is diminished in the current formet, whereby Joba would help in QS, assuming he gets better. So who is more valuable Soria or Chamberlain?

My current keepers are

Wieters
M. Cabrera
Sandaoval
Beckham
Quentin
J. Upton
Jay Bruce
Verlander
Soria
Price

I'd wait to see where Rios goes, if anywhere. I have him and I've liked what he's doing lately. I know what you mean about Soria. I wish he played for a better team. But, I like having him because he never seems to hurt my pitching stats.

Pence>Rios

Soria>Chamberlon (I just don't trust Joba...I think he should have stuck at RP)

So, it comes down to whether you prefer pitching or hitting. I'm thinking you might be able to get more for Soria and Rios, so I'd hold off on that deal.

I'm not a fan of hanging onto closers as keepers unless they are truly elite. There's just too much turnover at the closer position to reserve a keeper spot. And I would definitely not say Soria is an elite Keeper.

Help w/ mine? Thanks!

i'd rather have rios and soria. joba would have to become a fantasy ace in a short time to make me feel otherwise.
