Keep 2 its that simple

Postby CrashOverrid3 » Fri Aug 07, 2009 6:48 pm

We can keep 7 for as long as we want. This is a 20team H2H league. I basically have a whole offense which if isn't hurt and plays the way I know they can I destroy. (and obviously my draft is based on Pitching). Anyway, the guys with * are easy for me to keep, but I think I have a few other people that may be awesome.. or keep Krod and someone else.

*Carl Crawford
*Nate McLouth
*Manny Ramírez
*Justin Upton
*José Reyes

So basically .. which of these 2 do I keep, and do you have an argument to not keep one of my 5?

Garrett Jones
Vladimir Guerrero
Jake Fox
Lance Berkman
Ryan Roberts
Ricky Romero
Scott Baker
Derek Holland
Francisco Rodríguez
Andrew Bailey

I am trying to trade Lance and Vladdy (have been, but they have been hurt so it kills the value)

Berkman and Baker, most likely.

Berkman and Romero for me...

Berkman is the easiest pick out of the rest for me...
and then it was between Baker and Romero, but i think a full healthy year out of Romero will trump Baker next year, Romero is a stud in the making and has electric stuff... id personally take Romero over Baker...10W, 87K mid 3ERA for Ricky in 110 IP, 9W, 106K, mid 4ERA for Baker in 127 IP... so with those stats you give them the same IP and Romero will match if not pass Baker in Ks, have a better ERA and most likely be up by 2-3 Ws...

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...

So Berkman seems obvious to you guys which I know as well, but just wanted to make sure. Thank you for that

Now I guess I need to decide the last keeper.

Throw McLouth back

That is an idea I have had on my mind, but not sure if I could get anything back that would match what McClouth can do.

I like this idea a lot.. what I would really love is to trade Berkman and McClouth for an awesome 3B. Any suggestions who I could go after that would be keeper worthy?
