No veto, it's completely reasonable to trade a bunch of crap for great players. In fact to make it fair you should trade your best players to that team for whatever crap he might have left.

whats the best option after vetoing if he keeps throwing fits? lock his team? i assume he'll eventually start dropping his stars and just leave

Assuming it's a non $ league just re-assign the players if he decides to throw a fit and drop them and then lock his team. If it's a $ league do the same but profit. ;-D

I think that while the normal reason for vetoes is "Collusion", this is highly vetoable just from the perspective that it makes a mockery out of the league. A good term would be "Bringing the league into disrepute" if you needed soimething suitably vague yet 'proper'.

I would veto in a heart beat and follow the above advice regarding locking/cooting etc.
This game means nothing.... unless I'm winning!
