Would you trade Markakis and Shields for Peavy and Cody Ross? Heres the deal.Peavy can be kept for three more years after this year. Markakis can be kept one more and Shields two more. Ross is a throw back. My hitting is solid. Its carrying my team. I can afford to lose Markakis. I think Shields is over rated a tad. Markakis hasn't been the big after the ASB stud of the past.I would get another oitcher from the other owner to replace Peavy if or until he comes back this year. 12 team 5x5 keeper.

I wouldn't do this. I think Peavy takes a little hit going to the American League (hard to say as a White Sox fan) and I think Markakis is primed for a monster year next year.

I got a note back from the other owner. He said he would consider trading Peavy to me for Berkman. I told him corner will be weak at next years draft and pitching will be very deep.
So I would need him to include something to make me pull the trigger. But I think Berkman for Peavy straight up is an even trade. I have Pujols, Cabrera and Wright as corners.Thoughts?
