Why isn't he playing anymore? He is killing me.

I wondered that too since he was doing fairly well. I can't find anything that points to an injury. But it does appear that the Angels could just be riding the hot hand of Maicer Izturis, who has been hitting well lately. Nonetheless, no official word.

Absolutely ridiculous, he was in the midst of breaking out of his season long slump.
2B Howie Kendrick was 2-for-5 Sunday with a double. He has hits in 16-of-19 games since he was demoted to Class AAA and is batting .388 (26-for-67) with 14 runs scored and 15 RBIs in those games.

I agree. He will hit .300 the rest of the way, and that is better than most second baseman out there. He was able to get a couple games of playing time in a row lately. I'm holding on to him to see what I have.
